Mabel Chatham

On April 30, 2015, (nee Walters) of Gloucester City, NJ, age 82. She was the beloved wife of the late James J. Chatham, Jr., loving mother of the late James J. III (Donna), Debra Hickman, the late Steven, and Kathleen Myers (Wayne) and she was like a mother to Shannon Amato (Chris). Mable was the dear sister of John Walters (Marie) and Anna Heins (Bill) and was predeceased by her brothers Michael and George Walters (Lillian), and sisters Mary Lewandowski and Isabella Smith. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren Brandon, Matthew and Michelle, great grandson James, step-grandchildren Jimmy and Jackie and was like a grandmother to Gabriella, Lindsay, Kaitlyn, Jonathan and Maggie. Mabel loved her cat Bella and enjoyed going to the casinos, meeting friends at the Train Station, riding her red scooter around town and shopping. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Monday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Mabel's Funeral Service will be held 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the request of her family.
