Joseph M. Hartzel

On October 15, 2016, of Gloucester City, NJ, age 30. He is the beloved son of Joseph M. and Iola (nee Orth) Hartzel, Sr., loving father of Joseph "JoJo" M. Hartzel, III, dear grandson of Iola (late Richard) Orth and Robert & Josephine Hartzel. He is also the brother of Brooks Orth (Danielle), Amber and Victoria Hartzel, uncle of Hailey and Bradley Orth and fiancée of Laurel Haskell. Joe was the captain of the New Jersey Nightmare, an arena football team which plays in the Indoor Gridiron League. He was a 2004 graduate of Gloucester High School and a former coach for Gloucester Mustangs Football. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Joe's Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 PM. Interment will be private at the request of his family. In lieu of flowers his family would appreciate memorial donations be made to Gloucester Mustangs, 924 Klemm Ave., Gloucester City, NJ 08030.
