On December 11, 2016 (nee Holloway), a lifelong resident of Gloucester City, NJ Age 81 years. Beloved wife of the late George Cowgill, and loving companion for many years of the late James Burkman. Joan is the cherished mother of Janice M. Ellis (Mike Papp) and the late Kathy Cowgill. She is also survived by her beloved grandson Joseph Ellis and great granddaughter Kayla, and dear brother Ralph Holloway (Nora). Services were private and held at the convenience of the family under the direction of the ETHERINGTON FUNERAL HOME, Gloucester City, NJ.
